I would give Tofu Factory a 3.5/5. They have a good selection of combos to choose from where you can pick a meat entree plus any one of their soft tofu soups. Their seafood pancake is pretty good! Ours was packed with seafood. Fried dumplings were nice and crispy. Overall, I would say Tofu Factory is a great option if you're looking for soondubu in Richardson. However, if you're in the Carrollton area I personally would recommend trying Cho Dang Village!

Before Chodang Village opened, this place was my go-to. Great food. Great service. And conveniently located near our place in Richardson.

I came here on Sunday and I loved the food and service. Due to past bad experiences, I've always been a bit nervous when walking into a Korean restaurant. I came here after having run out of my usual banchan and I ordered the soup and pork belly combo. Both were delicious and they really made me feel at ease with their great service. I can't wait to go back.

This restaurant is now one of my go-to Korean food restaurants. I had Pork Spicy Tofu Soup with Seafood Pancake, which was amazing! Especially the seafood pancake was full of seafood and crunch. The owners are a young Korean couple who are friendly with excellent service. This place is clean with a great atmosphere! I liked it way better than another Korean Tofu place in Carrollton.

Was craving some soup and decided to come here as it was close by. 5 stars for the service. The owner and I think his daughter were both extremely nice to our toddler and interacted with him and helped me pick up his toys and utensils whenever he dropped them, which was quite often -_- Seafood pancake- pretty good. Crispy, lots of squid. I ordered the combo pork belly with tofu soup: Ham and sausage tofu soup- you can pick the level of spiciness from 0-3. I picked level 1. Very mild yet delicious. Not too salty or heavy. Lots of tofu. I really enjoyed it. My toddler also really liked it. The rice came in a stone pot and I loved the crispy edges. Pork belly- thinly cut. Decent but nothing special. Comes with 2 sauces to dip into: sesame oil and a spicy sauce. My picky toddler actually ate a couple slices. Japchae rice- basically japchae with a side of rice. My husband enjoyed it. Thought the flavors were good and balanced. Banchan- pretty good. Enjoyed the kimchi and the pickled radish. Overall, I had a good and full lunch. Recommend eating here if nearby. Not sure how it compares to other dallas Korean restaurants as I haven't been to many here. But I've been to many in NY and this place hits the spot! It would be one of my go tos if it was in NY.

Beef Soft Tofu Soup & LA Kalbi This was great! The kalbi was delicious, super tender and flavorful. Love the banchan and rice, were classic and excellent. The beef soft tofu soup was yummy too! Decent portion sizes

Words cannot describe how much I adore Tofu Factory. It is a hidden Korean gem in the middle of Chinatown. Both the rice and soup come in hot stone bowls, which makes the rice perfectly crispy by the time you get to the bottom. Side dishes vary every time, but you always get an egg to crack into you soup. I absolutely adore the chicken soondubu here. Other places like BCD tofu house don't offer a chicken option, but tofu factory does. Another bonus is that they started adding rice cake balls in the tofu soup, which soak up the flavor perfectly and add a chewy element to the meal. Tofu factory will always be my favorite tofu soup restaurant. Anyone who knows me has probably tried tofu factory because I brought them here.

I absolutely love Korean food however it can get a little pricey at times. With that said this place has an awesome lunch special with LOTS of options. I would recommend that you eat in because the service and the ambiance is well worth it but if you are limited on time, it's still delicious. So I went in torn about what to get but I was given some suggestions - I love yakimandu however I've never seen bulgogi as an option so I went with the fried ones. This is basically a dumpling filed with a meat stuffing - the bulgogi had a nice amount of meat in it and was tasty but next time I'll try the more traditional mandu. The Kalbi lunch plate was EVERYTHING I expected plus some. It's like a little be to box with rice, meat, kimchi, bean sprouts, a dumpling, Mac salad of sorts as well as a regular salad and another item I haven't had before but enjoyed. This was enough food to feed two or have left overs but regardless it was delicious. I'll definitely be going back and can't wait to try some of the other items they serve.
